All ‘Young Jedi Adventures’ Shorts Now on Disney Plus in Preparation for the Series’ Debut Next Week

In preparation for the series’ debut next week, all six shorts and trailers for Young Jedi Adventures have now been added to Disney Plus. We had already made reports on them when they were added to the Star Wars Kids YouTube channel, but if you prefer Disney Plus for all things Star Wars, it’s all set up now.

What is the Star Wars: Young Jedi Adventures series for those not in the know already?

Young Jedi Adventures full poster

“Set 200 years before The Phantom Menace, during the High Republic era, the animated series follows Jedi younglings as they study the ways of the Force, explore the galaxy, help citizens and creatures in need, and learn valuable skills needed to become Jedi along the way.”

The six shorts released so far are as follows:

Meet the Young Jedi

Kai, Lys, and Nubs work together to battle a training droid at the Jedi Temple on Tenoo.

Lys’ Creature Caper

Lys follows the clues to retrieve an adorable creature running amok through the Jedi Temple.

Kai’s Daring Droid Rescue

Nash calls Kai when her droid RJ-83 is in trouble.

Nubs and the Flower Fiasco

While on a mission to get a special flower, nature-lover Nubs uses some high-flying heroics to avoid a creature who also wants it.

Nash’s Firehawk Frenzy

The young Jedi are aboard Nash’s starship, The Crimson Firehawk, and must evade Taborr’s ship.

Taborr’s Pirate Showdown

When Taborr and his band of pirates pillage the Kublop Springs marketplace, Kai, Lys, and Nubs spring into action to stop them.

The show is focused around the six main characters of Master Yoda, Jedi younglings Kai, Lys, and Nubs, and their friends Nash and RJ-83. The younglings train at the temple on planet Tenoo and get up to fun and adventure, with a few life lessons also thrown in for the kids to learn.

But, what do we really know about the characters?

Young Jedi Adventures - Yoda

Master Yoda: This will be the youngest you have seen the Jedi Master so far. Given the dynamics of the High Republic era and how different Jedi were back then, it should be interesting to see him in an entirely different setting and sharing some wisdom with this group of younglings.

Young Jedi Adventures - Kai

Kai Brightstar is a human Jedi who is an optimistic and enthusiastic youngling. He’s also natural leader who relishes adventure, approaching it with wonder and enthusiasm. He believes in the potential for good in everyone.

Young Jedi Adventures - Lys

Lys Solay is a Pantoran Jedi youngling who is outgoing, quick-witted, and spontaneous, with a keen sense of observation that makes her adept at solving any problem that comes her way.

Nubs is a Jedi youngling who has super-strength — on top of his Force powers — due to being a member of the Pooba species. He’s strong enough to lift and carry objects that are twice his size.

Nash Durango is a talented pilot and mechanic who is from and lives on Tenoo. She is friends with all three younglings and seems to serve as their pilot and helper on many of their adventures. Her ship is called the Crimson Firehawk, and her co-pilot and companion is a little droid named RJ-83.

Watch below all six shorts with your own younglings if you are excited for season 1 of Young Jedi Adventures kicking off next week on Star Wars Day, May the 4th.
