Cassian Meets Luthen Rael in Brand-New ‘Andor’ Clip
The Star Wars Twitter account has dropped a brand-new clip from Andor ahead of the series premiere next month.
At just over a minute long, the clip seems to detail one of (if not the) first meetings between Cassian Andor and Luthen Rael, Stellan Skarsgård’s character. Check it out below:
It seems Luthen has hired Cassian to steal something from the Empire, and they meet so he can hand over the item. Cassian wants to get to the point, but Luthen wants to know how he managed to do it, offering another thousand credits if he tells him. Cassian then explains, showing his distaste for the Empire.
Some of his answer contains lines we’ve already heard in the trailers, as he says all you need to do is “walk in and act like you belong.” He goes further in this clip, hinting that he also spits in their food while he’s at it. It’s an engaging conversation that makes you wish they’d released the full scene.
Presumably, this is the beginning of a long and fruitful relationship between Cassian Andor and Luthen Rael, with Rael likely being the person who recruits Andor to the Rebellion. It won’t be long until we find out for sure, as Star Wars: Andor will debut on Disney Plus on September 21 with three episodes.
