‘The Book of Boba Fett’ Dominates Online Demand Weeks After Finale

The Disney Plus series The Book of Boba Fett has managed to stay atop the charts when it comes to online demand, despite the fact that the finale aired nearly a month ago.

According to Parrot Analytics and The Wrap, The Book of Boba Fett has managed to top the charts again with 39.1 times the amount of audience engagement to the average series, ahead of HBO Max’s breakout hit DC Comics series Peacemaker, which released around the same time and has significantly closed the gap despite being on a smaller streaming service. The remainder of the charts have a diverse range of content from multiple streaming services filling out the remainder of the Top Ten, including fellow Disney Plus series Hawkeye, Paramount Plus’s Yellowstone prequel 1883, Amazon Prime Video’s The Legend of Vox Machina and The Wheel of Time, Hulu’s Pam and Tommy, Peacock’s Bel-Air, Netflix’s Inventing Anna, and HBO’s The Gilded Age.

This remains consistent with prior reports on the show’s viewership being a series that was in high overall demand, and that the show got more viewers than the likes of Hawkeye. That being said, the results came with their own highs and lows – it seems that the show had lower overall viewership than The Mandalorian in the grand scheme of things, although the season finale had a higher total viewership than what was recorded for the season finale of The Mandalorian‘s sophomore outing.

All episodes of the first season of The Book of Boba Fett are available to stream right now on Disney Plus. It has not yet been confirmed if the show will have a second season, but Disney is set to hold an Investor’s Day Meeting much like they did in 2020, and Star Wars news is expected to be revealed there. Fingers crossed that we see more of the original Mandalorian bounty hunter at the Lucasfilm portion of the presentation!
