New Nissan Advertisement for ‘Solo: A Star Wars Story’ Hints at the Fun Dynamic Between Chewbacca and L3-37
A new advertisement published on YouTube this week by Nissan continues to channel Star Wars, this time focusing on Solo: A Star Wars Story. Promoting a new technology, Nissan has put together a fun little advert with everyone’s favorite Wookiee Chewbacca and droid newcomer L3-37 in the Millennium Falcon.
The clip shows L3-37 piloting the Falcon through a tight squeeze between two Star Destroyers while reassuring a concerned Chewie they’re not going to crash. The footage is more than likely just for this commercial if ads similar to this promoting The Force Awakens and The Last Jedi are any indication. It’s certainly a fun little clip that gives us another glimpse at L3-37’s personality and gives us a fun interaction between her and Chewie. The production quality of the clip is so good it looks like it could have been pulled right from a final cut of the movie!
It’ll be exciting to see how the two characters interact when Solo: A Star Wars Story hit theaters May 25th.
