Interesting, but I think if Luke’s lightsaber is anything other than green, it will be white.

Agree – if he’s using the Vader saber or his own ROTJ one, would be a good opp to push the ‘leeching’ element they explained in the ‘Ahsoka’ novel around khyber crystals…

im feeling that luke, like the emperor, is beyond sabers at this point. but if he does light a blade i think it will still be old reliable.

I’m all for fresh twists and surprises, but Luke’s lightsaber not been the one from RotJ would not go down well with the majority of the audience. Better to not have one, than use a red lightsaber as well.

Like I said before. Funko toy. Luke has a red crystal around his neck and no green saber to be found. Would explain his self exile. The dark side takes him a bit after Ben’s betrayal. He disassembles the saber after corrupting his crystal. Just a thought!

Unrelated – But Funko toys creep me out, man. Those dead, black eyes…yeesh. Clowns are amateur-hour compared to these diminutive minions of Hell

Haha. I feel you. They don’t do anything for me. I’ve always thought they were kinda lame.

In star wars red saber = bad guys.

Then again, if he had the Vader saber, would be Luke showing he ‘owns’ his family’s imperfect legacy…

Vader’s saber was destroyed with the Death Star.

Or was it? Ordinarily, I’m not the garden variety tinfoil hat guy in the room, but weren’t the Acolytes of the Beyond running around Chuck Wendig’s ‘Aftermath’ trilogy w/ a red saber purportedly belonging to the late Skywalker? I’ll admit I more scanned these books than actually reading them, so I could well have missed the part where somebody opened up the battery compartment (or whatever) and found a name tag that said “Property of Darth Jim Bob” or something…otherwise confirming it as NOT the Vader one

If he’s a GREY Jedi his lightsabre should be a mix of Red and Blue. So PURPLE then …
