Gwen should host Celebration in Orlando! James Arnold Taylor and Wicket Davis are immensely talented but their hosting duties are pretty lacking.

Liked everything about her presentation except for the constant Woooooooooooooo!!! If she toned that down a bit, she’d be perfect.

I thought Warwick Davis did a great job. Didn’t see JAT.

JAT hosting intro was pretty darn irritating and it seems like he is more interested in himself than the guest. Davis was just holding back.

Weren’t you one of the constant bad mouthers when 7 came out on these threads? Why do you even care?

The “Your Snoke Theory Sucks” is awesome. I visit a very popular Yankees blog and they have a “My Trade Proposal Sucks ‘MTPS’ ” slogan that people use when making up a crazy trade idea.

    MSTS: Snoke is just Snoke.

I know a couple of us have said it a few times before… but it’s crazy. We already own episode 7… 8 is wrapped and a movie about stealing the Death Star plans is hitting us in less than half a year.

I hope everyone keeps the excitement alive. I know nothing will top TFA’s debut because it was Star Wars reborn… but I’m still really interested to see where this goes. I hope they are bold with it!

Re: TFA “it was Star Wars reborn” “I hope they are bold with it”

While I enjoyed it, they definitely weren’t bold with TFA.
So here’s hoping they’ve changed direction & are being *bold* going forward.

Just glad it’s no longer in JJ’s hands.

I agree they weren’t bold. With the reborn statement I’m saying the hype level for Star Wars to finally come back to the cinema after so long… and it continued the story past the OT. That’s a kind of hype factor that’s hard to replicate. That’s why I’m hoping 8 and 9 surprise us by going a direction we didn’t quite foresee.

That’ll be hard considering we’ve theorized nearly everything under the sun 😛

Understood about the hype & return of the franchise.
As much as some were disappointed that they weren’t brave or overly original, personally I’m just happy that it didn’t *stink* & put a damper on plans moving forward.

Also agree on 8 & 9 – hopeful to be surprised. Similar to how many of us were so pleasantly surprised with direction taken with Empire following ANH.
Also hope the leaks aren’t as bad as Ep7 & we’ve left with true surprises when the movies release.

Movie Maul: Looked badass, didn’t do much (none of it evil…Qui-Gon’s death was as an enemy combatant, no more, no less).
TCW/Rebels Maul: One of the best damn characters in the franchise.

Character development really does help; Maul has come a long way. ^_^

    Re: Jedah – resources, “a big…lightsaber”?

Don’t know if I misheard that, but when he’s talking about the resources for “a big” …pause…”uh lightsaber”, it made me think he was going to say “a big weapon”.

If the rumors about the crystals that are used in sabers being mined to be used for the Death Star’s weapon turn out to be true, his comment/slip could back that up as a movie plot point.
