Examples of prequel characters are slowly beginning to be celebrated in the Star Wars universe again. A new clip that showcases prequel trilogy characters which include Darth Maul, Jango Fett and Zam Wesell drop today, along with a apple juggling Jar Jar Binks. Take a look!

All-new downloadable content for Lego Star Wars: The Force Awakens is available today on platforms that include PS4, Xbox One, Wii U, PC (Steam), PS3, Xbox 360, Nintendo 3DS and PS Vita. Finally, the ‘Prequel Trilogy’ is represented in an character pack allows fans to play as select characters from Star Wars: Episode I The Phantom Menace, Star Wars: Episode II Attack of the Clones and Star Wars: Episode III Revenge of the Sith.

The interesting part of the character pack is the arrival of prequel trilogy characters that include a battle damaged Anakin Skywalker/ pre-suit Darth Vader (Damaged), Captain Panaka, Darth Maul, Jango Fett, Padmé Naberrie, Watto, Zam Wesell, two vehicles and everyone’s fan favorite Jar Jar Binks.

Recently, a big selling point for LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens has been the extra levels that help fill in the gaps between Episode VI: Return of the Jedi and Episode VII: The Force Awakens. However, here game players and fans of the prequels finally get some ‘Prequel trilogy’ action.

Check out the all-new clip here!

In addition to characters from the prequel trilogy, a character DLC for The Freemaker Adventures, a LEGO Star Wars television series on Disney XD, was also made available for download today (via LEGO Star Wars on Twitter).

I wonder if we’ll get any TCW ones, or if Maul’s the closest we’re gonna get.

I believe that there will be a TCW character pack as well (also a Rebels one)

I hate Lego (and fun). It’s rough, and coarse, and hurts like a motherfucker when you step on it in the middle of the night.

A Lego game with DLC? Adds to my disappointment of this game. 🙁

OK, so they’re testing it slowly to see how well this DLC will sell.

When it does sell well (Believe me, it will) perhaps they’ll finally get over their prequel hate.

To be honest, I thought that there had already been other character packs that have been released via DLC.

In any case, there are already PT and some TCW characters available in the game that one can unlock, including some of the ones in this preview (though in different outfits such Naboo Queen outfit Padme and Geonosis Padme and young Anakin and ROTS Anakin; Grievous is also an unlockable character as well).

By the way, there should be a TCW character pack and a Rebels one coming out in the future as well.

Now that both Jar Jar and JJ Abrams are playable characters, does that mean I can finally make Jar Jar Abrams as one of my custom characters?

Also, I can now play as Roger? I’m going to have to relive his glory days as in “From Trenches to Wrenches.”
