Star Wars Weekly Social Buzz!
It’s been another week with many interesting posts on the social networks. Let’s get right into it.
First, please check out this site SWANH.NET
SWANH.NET is an adaptation of Star Wars Episode IV in a style that was inspired by infographics. One story in one piece of 123 meters length. This is truly incredible. Great, great effort!!!

Yesterday we told you that there are two actors who play Chewbacca in Ireland. We’re still trying to find the name of the English actor on the left. On the right is Joonas Suotamo:

That’s a weird one:

Rian Johnson is back in London for more Episode VIII filming. Funny discussion between him, Edgar Wright and Joonas Suotamo aka Chewbacca:
Daisy Ridley is home too:
Someone posted these buildable Rogue One LEGO figures on imgur:

Some fans recreated several Star Wars action sequences using drones and it looks awesome:
A very well made fan film, written and directed by Wesley Chan:
Great posts by Pablo Hidalgo regarding the Expanded Universe:
And then one day, my boss Paul Ens (@paulens) throws out the idea of rebooting the EU. Not that he had the authority to do so. Just talk.
— Pablo Hidalgo (@pablohidalgo) May 20, 2016
And I HATED the idea. I thought, NO! YOU CAN’T DO THAT. NOT AFTER I HAD INVESTED SO MUCH TIME AND EFFORT INTO IT.
— Pablo Hidalgo (@pablohidalgo) May 20, 2016
But then 24 hours later, I loved the idea because, in a weird way, it was an act of preservation. Of conservation. Not elimination.
— Pablo Hidalgo (@pablohidalgo) May 20, 2016
I realized that the EU and the connections it built were a fragile house of cards. And the way it was structured in relation to production..
— Pablo Hidalgo (@pablohidalgo) May 20, 2016
@GenerationJSIN That hasn’t been my experience. Besides, those wiser minds were LFL.
— Pablo Hidalgo (@pablohidalgo) May 20, 2016
@T_Westside95 Oh, very much so. It was the starting point.
— Pablo Hidalgo (@pablohidalgo) May 20, 2016
And some more interesting random tweets:
@Gary_Thursby This is where George’s phrase “continuity is for wimps” comes from. As an editor, he felt you could trick your way past it.
— Pablo Hidalgo (@pablohidalgo) May 26, 2016
@Leonalrey Or to examine them, see if they’re useful as seers, and if they’re not they kill them,

@LilDirtyTV It’s a rock.

Stay tuned for more next week.

OK. I want one of those Skywalker Wine box.
Oh. And that’s a rock. What a shame…
Isnt that Kristen Stewart with Carrie and Gary?
Looks like her to me.
You can spot that expressionless face from 10 miles away. Yes that is her.
…
I think Jai Courtney is their even less interesting offspring from the future.
I’m already imagining that movie!
How’d this bottle of bleach get into my hand?
And then it will get rebooted.
MY EYES! THE GOGGLES DO NOTHING!
Huh, the infographic resolves the “who shot first?” scene by having Han Solo shoot first. RESPECT.
Yawn….
But still includes the Jabba scene. I’m so confused about whether I should love it or hate it.
Well the infographic has better graphics so I’ll give it a pass.
Yeah, it makes it look like Jabba could physically fit into the space. Weird. I don’t remember the movie showing that.
So sad now that we won’t be getting an actual official Super Rogue One game. I liked their 16 bit version of Civil War better than the film itself.
Re: Mark’s snack foods…. King crisps are Irish, not English! Owned by same company as Tayto crisps (Largo). And bloody tasty they are too 😉
