Star Wars The Black Series Jabba's Rancor Pit

Star Wars™ The Black Series Jabba’s Rancor™ Pit from Hasbro®

Star Wars™ fans can re-create one of the biggest battles and missions in the Star Wars Saga with this set from The Black Series. Jabba’s Rancor™ Pit includes highly articulated 6-inch figures, all of which are featured in the epic Return of the Jedi scene where Jabba the Hut throws a Gamorrean Guard and Luke Skywalker into the Rancor Pit, while Princess Leia looks on in horror. This item will become available at Toys“R”Us stores later this year.

UPDATE!

One clarification from Toys”R”Us:

The figures are indeed 3.75-inch. Jabba is 6 inches, which is where the confusion is stemming from.

Dude stop being THAT guy. Clearly the fine people at SW7News have been repeatedly stating that they will post interesting SW news not TFA related. Sit down and shut up.

We’re doing some changes and article tagging on the site. So that if you want to see only TFA news you just need to press a button. 🙂

Most of the visitors are interested in this kind of news as well – I think. The site does a great job.

As for the changes, it would be fantastic to find a section on the page (just pressing a button) where the items (books, comics, series, etc.) of the new official timeline can be seen in a simple version. I mean just the titles, not much text.

I know I will continue to read all the new content. Because it is relevant to a Star Wars fan such as myself. Also this toy set looks awesome. To bad it’s only at Toys”R”us

I see hasbro can’t get 6″ off their minds. According to the press release, this set includes highly articulated 6″ figures.

These look like the 3 1/2″ collection. Is it the 6″? Thanks!

It’s probably another one of those strange american things where black cloaks are racist, or summat.

No, it was brown in the movie.

Well, whatever colour it is it’s no where near as bright a shade as this.

It was also this lighter color in the original toys.

I doubt these are 6″ figures. Other sites are saying that’s a typo from TRU and they are actually 3 3/4″. Otherwise the rancor would be over 2 feet tall…

You can press a button to have him eject from the Sarlacc. We already find out a lot of our SW news from toy releases. They might as well officially announce Fett’s fate by releasing the Sarlacc Playset “The Black Series: Sarlaac Escape!” lol

I hope they sort out C3PO’s paint job before they finally release a 6 inch version in the black series. They managed to get it right in the 90s for god’s sake! Why have they gone more down the Droids cartoon colour route? Hopefully it’s just a bad photo.
