J.J. Abrams And Lawrence Kasdan Visiting A Star Wars Toy Store in Paris?

Star Wars

The Facebook page of the Paris toy store called Pulp’s Toys posted a surprising picture yesterday…

OK first of all this was posted on April 4 so it shouldn’t be an April Fools joke. And the image really looks legit. But what is J.J. doing in Paris? And not only that but according to the guy from the photo he was accompanied by Lawrence Kasdan!

Here’s a rough translation of the text under the image and from the comments:

Guess who went to say hello to the shop?

J.J. Abrams is a quiet and lovely man who speaks French very well … he was accompanied by the writer of SW7 …. magical …

Thanks to P-Twiggy

JJ Abrams is on vacation with Lawrence Kasdan a month before shooting on ep7 without a full cast. Yep. Sounds legit.

Why does somebody visiting a toy store literally baffle you?
They might just be travelling Europe looking for shooting locations

Well if you can’t see why, then.. oh dear. That ‘somebody’ is the director of the next star wars film that has not got a cast and yet is going to be shooting next month, and has been anounced that it is technically currently shooting already, yet he he is spending some of his time in a Paris Toy store with co-writer Lawrence Kasdan .. Looking for locations a month before shooting? Yeah right ok.

Of course. The classic scenario, go to a Paris toy stores to get his picture taken and put on their facebook account.. Publicity for what exactly? Himself?

Not to change the subject, but….. Who the heck is the chosen one ?. The one who brings balance to the force ? Or something like that ?……. Some say Luke because he helped redemed his dad. Some say Anakin because he ended the Emporors life and was the end of the sith. Now, if Luke was, and that was supposed to end the saga, then why is a part 7, 8 and 9 being made ?. If Anakin is the one, then how come the sith are still out there and we are getting ready to see what the sith planet Morriban looks like with all the sith on it ?. Does this make any sense ?. Could it be possible that neither one of those guys was the chosen one ?.

I think the whole “Chosen One” thing is nonsense. I believe Lucas included it in Star Wars because 1) he wanted to wrap up his saga in six movies and 2) he wanted to make Darth Vader bigger than he was because he had became such a huge fan of his. Looking at the OT, Luke and Vader were just regular Force users.

Yeah Vader was just a person who turned bad then the prequels turned his into Jesus

Ah! That’s why no actors have been announced. SW7 won’t be live action – it’ll be puppets, just like Thunderbirds. They’re in that shop trying to find a figure for the last lead character. Or, then again, maybe a changeover in Paris is just part of their flight plan.

Are you serious? Lawrence Kasdan wrote TESB in 1983. You don’t expect him to look so young, do you? The guy on the photo is not Kasdan but someone who works in the store.
