Rumor: Star Wars Rebels to Return on January 20?

Rebels RexRecent reports have suggested that Star Wars Rebels will be making its return on January 20. The name of episode set to air on that date teases a character from the movies making an appearance in a canon animated show for the first time.

A Princess On Lothal

If the report shown is accurate, then this could mean that Leia Organa could be the very Princess paying a visit to Lothal – and that might just mean that her adoptive dad Bail could also appear again sometime soon.

Special thanks to MakingStarWars for relaying the image and the information.

It would be nice if they have a Rogue One tie-in for season 3.

Agreed, I’m sure it’s bound to happen, if not season 3 then later in the series.

I’m sort of worried how these animated characters will translate to live-action though. I think that’s why Constable Zuivo was cut from the finished film.

That’s not the same thing. The reason he was cut is that he only appeared in one scene and that scene was cut. It’s a s simple as that.

Except he looks as cartoony as Maz in live-action.

I respectfully disagree. Although his face does have a bit of a Halloween mask quality to it, it doesn’t look especially cartoony to me.

The eyes and face look like Judge Doom meets Darkman but I like the rest of it even though the helmet is clearly Embo.

I wonder who would do the voice of a young Princess Leia? Carrie has smoked way too many cigarettes to ever sound like that again…
