‘The Acolyte’ Visual Guide Coming January 2025

DK Publishing will be releasing a new visual guide tied to The Acolyte next January. Though an official announcement hasn’t come yet, the item has been listed on Edelweiss with a Jan. 7, 2025, release date (hat tip to StarWarsTimeline.com for spotting it first).

More details include a $25 price point and a total of 128 pages for the new book. This seems to be the first of its kind to expand upon a live-action Star Wars series, at least on its own. A visual guide had been announced to be tied to The Mandalorian, but was ultimately canceled. The Dawn of the Rebellion visual guide included bits from Obi-Wan Kenobi and Andor, but from what we’ve been able to gather, it seems this will be the first solo visual dictionary.

The Acolyte is confirmed to come out on Disney Plus on June 4, at 6pm PT / 9pm ET, seven months before the visual guide. A trailer was dropped in March, and a new look at the series has been announced to be shown in theaters after screenings of the re-release of The Phantom Menace, on the May 3 weekend. A second trailer could come out online a few days after that.

Miguel Fernández is a Spanish student that has movies as his second passion in life. His favorite movie of all time is The Lord of the Rings, but he is also a huge Star Wars fan. However, fantasy movies are not his only cup of tea, as movies from Scorsese, Fincher, Kubrick or Hitchcock have been an obsession for him since he started to understand the language of filmmaking. He is that guy who will watch a black and white movie, just because it is in black and white.
