There are also some gameplay details that can be gleaned from the trailer. The DLC is being described as a “story-based” adventure.

Star Wars has been featured in many gaming collaborations, especially in recent months. Star Wars was prominently featured in recent Fortnite projects, including adding Ahsoka Tano into Fortnite as a skin, and a prequel-themed event that let players use lightsabers and Force powers.

In other related news, it’s been reported that Disney CEO Bob Iger was urged by senior executives at Disney to acquire another big-name video game publisher in an effort to become more prominent within the video game space. The name being thrown around is Electronic Arts (EA) the company responsible for the last 10 years of Star Wars games.

There are many more Star Wars games on the way. The next upcoming major Star Wars game looks to be Star Wars: Outlaws which is reportedly targeting an early 2024 release. Cal Kestis actor Cameron Monaghan also recently said at a convention panel that he was working on a third Star Wars: Jedi game from Respawn Entertainment. However, it’s likely this is still in early development.
