‘LEGO Star Wars’ Will Drop a ‘The Mandalorian’ Halloween Project Later This Year

After the trilogy of LEGO specials dedicated to Christmas – er, Life Day (The LEGO Star Wars Holiday Special), Halloween (LEGO Star Wars: Terrifying Tales), and the Summer (LEGO Star Wars: Summer Vacation) hitting in the past three years, it appears that they will be continuing this tradition with a fourth animated project revisiting the Halloween season, this time with the focus built around The Mandalorian.

As seen on the show floor of the San Diego Comic Con (hat tip r/StarWarsLeaks) the next installment in the series will be called LEGO Star Wars: Mandoween – Celebrate The Season. You can see a banner revealing Mandoween, and a number of other features based on LEGO’s original and licensed brands, below:

It appears that another Lego Star Wars special called "Mandoween" is coming to Disney+ (from Lego’s booth at SDCC)

One project name is obscured by a “confidential” sticker, but from what little we can see of the text underneath it, it does not seem like it has anything to do with Star Wars. It may be tied to Jurassic Park based on what little we can see of the title, though this would be an odd case of labeling, given that the franchise has stuck with the Jurassic World label since 2015.

As it stands, there is no clear indication about what format Mandoween is going to take. It may be a short film or it may be another feature-length special. More details on this new project may be revealed at the official LEGO panel, which is set to be held on July 20 at 10:30 AM PDT, though the stated focus of said panel appears to be on the DREAMZzz and Ninjago toy lines and their associated animated series. It is also possible that more details will just be revealed at the booth itself. Hopefully, we do not have long to wait for clarification.

The LEGO Star Wars Holiday Special, Terrifying Tales, and Summer Vacation are all available to watch on Disney Plus for anyone who wants to get an idea of what to expect from this latest special.
