‘Star Wars Jedi: Survivor’ Reportedly Appearing at The Game Awards

It seems our next look at Star Wars Jedi: Survivor will be arriving as soon as next month.

According to Insider Gaming, The Game Awards will be showing off a new trailer for the sequel to Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order along with an official release date and pre-order date. They also report that this will happen 30 minutes into the show. The Game Awards take place on December 8, 2022, so it’s not a long wait at all — just over two weeks.

An appearance at The Game Awards would make sense, considering that Jedi: Survivor is rumored to be releasing in March 2023, along with a tie-in novel covering events in between Fallen Order and Survivor around the same time. The Art of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor book is releasing on May 2, 2023 — roughly two months later. But this could just mean that EA Respawn (the developer behind the game) and Lucasfilm Games just want to wait a bit longer before releasing any unnecessary spoilers into the world.

Hopefully, this new trailer will contain gameplay footage, which seems likely considering the announcement trailer was entirely CGI and the game itself isn’t too far off. Either way, it won’t be long until we learn something new about the long-anticipated sequel.
