‘Star Wars Jedi: Survivor’ Potentially Arriving Early 2023

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor could be coming much earlier than previously thought.

It is now possible to add Survivor to your wishlist on the PlayStation Store, and while currently the page only says the game will release in 2023, Twitter account @PlayStationSize reports that the Sony database has the game listed for release in early February/late March.

This shouldn’t be taken as confirmation though, as @DailyJFO adds further context by pointing out the fact that it’s only just been listed means that an early 2023 release is likely, so it’s not that someone has spotted a release date in a database somewhere.

An early 2023 release date would certainly be a surprise, given that all we’ve seen of Survivor at this point is a cinematic trailer with no gameplay and only a minor tease of the game’s story. However, it’s possible that we’ll get a proper gameplay demo and release date reveal at D23 in September, which would still be six months away from this reported release date. That would be the smallest possible window to tease a game and properly market it before release.

The PlayStation Store doesn’t give much else away, other than a brief synopsis of the game’s plot:

STAR WARS Jedi: Survivor™ picks up five years after the events of STAR WARS Jedi: Fallen Order™. Cal must stay one step ahead of the Empire’s constant pursuit as he continues to feel the weight of being one of the last remaining Jedi in the galaxy.

Hopefully these reports are correct and it won’t be long until we get to step into Cal Kestis’ boots once more.
