Solo: A Star Wars Story Ticket Presales Announced for May the 4th in Germany
Just a few hours after we shared a new Solo trailer with you (posted by the official German Star Wars YouTube page) comes the news that the tickets for the movie will go on presale on May the 4th.
Reddit member creepmaster9000 got an email newsletter from a German cinema stating that tickets for Solo: A Star Wars Story will go on presale in Germany on May the 4th.
After the release of the final Solo trailer, many fans were disappointed that we didn’t also get an announcement for the ticket sales. The main reason for that was probably the fact that Disney’s other box-office juggernaut Avengers: Infinity War was about to get released in theaters, and most likely they didn’t want to distract the fans with two big movie ticket sales. Fans immediately started speculating that the next potential date for Solo ticket sales could be May the 4th aka Star Wars Day. And it made perfect sense.
Could this announcement in Germany mean that a similar announcement will be coming shortly in other countries as well? It certainly looks that way. Or could this announcement just be specific to this particular cinema? That is also a possibility. We just have to wait a few more days, and I am sure we will get an official announcement. Especially after Avengers: Infinity War opens in theaters this weekend.
