New Star Wars: The Last Jedi Art via Topps Digital and More!

In the past few months we’ve seen many cool art pieces from The Last Jedi that leaked on the web one way or another. Now that Force Friday II is officially underway we finally know what was the source of all these images – the Star Wars Card Trader app by Topps.

Yesterday we showed you a list uploaded on the Topps site with some interesting info on the basic The Last Jedi plot outline. Now you can officially start collecting The Last Jedi cards from Topps’ Card Trader app on your phone. Some of the images have already been posted on the web and you can check them out below (use the arrows to see all 18 cards):

Thanks to Twitter member Nehemiah (Nemo) Knox‏ for sending the link.

Also Twitter member Xscape sent us this new image of Rey from the Po-Zu shoe company, which sells the boots Rey is wearing in the movie. 🙂

Our friend Nige shared this cool poster from Toys R Us, showing the new AT-M6 walker next to a regular AT-AT:

I like the red guards look like badasses. Hopefully they will actually be one too.

Heck, if the movie manages showcase them in action that I will be excited for because the Royal Guards of Palpatine where glorified Body guards that did nothing. It is one of the reasons why I loved Legends because it showcased how badass these guys were.

Before the comic books fleshed out their story, was there any doubt that the Royal Guards were dangerous and badass? They’re the personal guards of the Emperor. ‘Nuff said. I don’t need to see them roundhouse kicking some Rebel dude to know that they’re forces (no pun intended) to be reckoned with.

I think the threat of violence they posed was more effective in ROTJ than actually showing them fight anyone. I mean, if we see these guards in TLJ going into action, great, but I think the Royal Guards in the OT were showcased quite well.

I don’t think the Royal Guards were dangerous and badass – would they have required the Emperor to protect them, otherwise? 😉

Rebel Officer: [gasping for breath] We didn’t receive a trailer…This is a humble toy store. Would you like to see our… Binks mugs?

Darth Vader: If this is a toy store, where is the manager? [crushes the officer’s neck, then throws him against the wall of stacked Binks mugs] Commander, tear this store apart until you’ve found those trailers, and bring me the Black Series figures. I want them MINT!

Wow, the AT-M6 looks enormous even compared to the old walker. A lot of this new artwork looks amazing. Hot damn; I bet that the concept guys had a blast with all those drawings. Hence, why I look forward to picking up the concept book, assuming that I like the movie.

TFA is the only SWs movie, outside of ATC, where I have not picked up any associated media with it. RO was the complete opposite. 🙂 Overall, this looks cool.

There’s a lot of chatter hoping Luke will fire up his green lightsaber. But seeing Luke’s X-Wing again, I’d really like to see him in it dogfighting The First Order.
