Billy Dee Williams, Alan Tudyk, Vanessa Marshall and More to Appear at Star Wars Celebration Orlando.

The official Star Wars site announced yesterday the actors who played Lando Calrissian, K-2SO, Hera Syndulla, and General Grievous will be going to Celebration Orlando and will be signing autographs.

From StarWars.com:

Billy Dee Williams (Lando Calrissian), Alan Tudyk (K-2SO), and Vanessa Marshall (Hera Syndulla, Star Wars Rebels), along with Matthew Wood (supervising sound editor at Skywalker Sound and voice of General Grievous), are officially coming to Celebration. They will be signing autographs at the Star Wars Celebration Autograph Hall in Orlando this April, The Topps Company and Authenticators, Inc. announced today. Celebration has long been the only place to see and meet stars and creators from across the Star Wars saga, from the original trilogy to animated series like Star Wars Rebels, and now, Rogue One. Your toy shelf is going to have some serious competition.

It’s nice to see Billy Dee Williams back at Celebration. He also attended the event held at Anaheim in 2015.

Fans continue to wonder if Lando will have a brief appearance in the Sequel Trilogy. He was too important in the Original Trilogy, not to be mentioned in The Last Jedi and/or Episode IX. It won’t make sense, especially since he recently got his own comic and appeared in Star Wars: Rebels (not to mention the Han Solo spin-off film). Obviously Lucasfilm has plans for him, we just have to wait and see if these plans include a feature film appearance. It would make sense, especially after Han’s death.

I think Lando should at least appear. Even if they limit his role. If he gets as much screen time as Akbar got in The Force Awakens then I’d be thrilled. They can leave him until 9 if they want too, but it would make more sense for him to pop up after Han just died.

I just realised how could have Lando appear in TFA. Instead of Maz Kanata, they could’ve made him the host of the castle-inn. Maz could have appeared as a client of the place that stays always there, and that Lando could have introduced to Han and co.

That is a pretty good idea… Though they couldn’t just dismiss Lando in the same way they did with Maz after the attack.

Yeah. I assume he would have been around in the base afterwards.

Great minds, I mentioned this same thing a few weeks back on here.

I collect the SW Hot Wheels cars and I’m surprised no one’s made a fuss yet about the lack of any dark skinned characters in that line despite Lando, Mace, and Finn having a bigger role than other ones they done already.
