Star Wars Rebels: New “The Holocrons Of Fate” Clip.

maul-bar

Maul isn’t wasting any time enacting another new scheme to take revenge against the Empire after escaping from Malachor. Unfortunately, this plan involves kidnapping most of the Ghost crew and interrogating Hera, as seen in a clip from the next episode of Star Wars Rebels: “The Holocrons Of Fate”.

This episode will premiere on October 1. Check back with us then when we will have a full review of the episode and more.

Maul is one of the most developed Star Wars characters in the new canon. So are Tarkin and Ventress too, but for Maul, they didn’t need a novel to be written.

Any bets on Maul getting a peek at that holocron’s contents which carries the message from Obi-Wan in season 1, and sends him into a rage that Kenobi still lives?

The problem is you must use the light side to open the holocron.

Any thoughts on Maul using the force to read Hera’s thoughts ala Kylo reading Poe’s and Rey’s in TFA? Please don’t make Maul Snoke.

I think it’s just a nod to the movie. I’m convinced that Snoke is Snoke.

I’m so happy with the ‘ominous Dark side presence from the edge of the galaxy’ and weird shit buried on Jakku plotline – as long as they keep it murky, mysterious and deep. Ezra, Plaguis, Maul… They’d all be weak storytelling IMO

…smoke went through some intense process that resulted in tremendous physical change. Nah, that’s no star wars. Not even in his character arc or anything.

Interesting that he knows Kanan’s real name.

I wonder if he got Kanan’s real name from the mind probing Hera. He did know that she knows everything about him. I wonder if this make her feel bad for putting Kanan and Ezra in jeopardy and her reaction going forward is to be more emotionally distant to Kanan and to the rest of the crew.
