I like it. I have to say my only issue is the fact that the music was all over the place, but the last half was pretty spot on. I enjoyed it!

Agreed. They should just find a track in one of the soundtracks that matches the action decently well.

That was the best! Hoping they don’t release anymore new footage. I’m so ready for the actual movie!

Best super cut I’ve seen. It wasn’t perfect but the music was less choppy than several others than have been floating around. Well done!

That was awesome, Kennytime! I’d love to see you add the international trailer and tv spot to that mashup. I enjoyed the classic trilogy scenes and your sound editing was really well done.

Cheers Tervlon! Feel free to share this anywhere you’d like and I’ll be sure to update everyone if / when I’m able to add in more of the new footage.

Really like this one, especially the combing of ROTJ with it. Shared with friends!

Come on, that sound is clashing all over the place. Editing trailer mashups ain’t like dusting crops, kid 😉

I think your right. It does seem to flow better. Good find.

I’m really happy that Disney is creating Star Wars standalone films in addition to the ST. It will be really interesting to see more experimental and audacious stories within the Star Wars Universe.

    Love the supercut!

Obviously all the trailers work better as stand alone pieces since that is how they were designed, but this is quite and EPIC super-cut. I love it!

Is there a video that just combines all the trailers & commercials into an advertisement marathon( preferrably in order from teaser 1 through 1st official TV spot)? I’d rather see that TBH, I don’t like when they edit clips of trailers together cuz it’s always corn.

I’d do it myself if I knew how.

Yeah some of these super cuts just don’t really work. It’s a noble effort on their parts but honestly the best ones tend to create an entire audio track over the “cut” trailer. Don’t go combining all the previous tracks…

I’ve seen it a few times but rarely done as isolating the vocals away from the music is difficult/sometimes impossible.

I tried to do a noise cancellation on Lupita’s VO in mine. Didn’t quite come out how I wanted, but I think some of that has to do with the audio compression. Anyways, I may attempt to add the international trailers and subsequent TV spots, if I can find the time to update this.

To be honest I feel like your last 30 seconds is better than any of the teasers or trailers last 30 seconds. Amazing ending to your trailer!

Really good, a couple of scenes out of order, snow scenes should have been at the end probably with the atmosphere fights. But really good! Man, Han looks great. Super excited!!

The editing was very good, considering what a Frankenstein’s Monster of a trailer this is. It might not have the best pacing, but it’s a good way to see all of the revealed footage in one sitting. It’s just too bad that they’ll have to make another one once the new Thursday footage comes out.

I’ve heard it many times now, and I’m 100% sure that “I know all about waiting.” is Gwendoline Christie, and not Daisy Ridley. I think that’s some deliberate misdirection by the advertising people.

Luke is the new Darth Vadar, no misdirection here, Lets cast the white male as the villain and everyone else as the good folk. All the new politico correctness thrown down your throats. No thanks.
