There is absolutely no news here at all. This is worse than a click bait yahoo article. Absolute waste of time. I usually put faith in this site to deliver decent news coverage but this one was just ridiculous.

She just confirmed that she was the “LEAD” of the film by answering that question, similar to how Isaac confirmed that he’d be working with Rian on episode 8 by answering the strategically worded question presented to him. (I am actually surprised that you guys didn’t mention this in the article. Why not?!) If we are to call Isaac’s positive response to a question about working with Rian a confirmation than we must also call Jones’ positive response to being the “lead” a confirmation that she is indeed the “lead”.

Now, did you actually READ the question? Are you aware that we’ve been wondering this entire time whether or not she was simply the first to be cast or indeed that ACTUAL lead? Were you aware of that? Stop whining just for the sake of whining.”Wahhh Wahhhh.” Stop whining. You must be the same poster on every article complaining about the content being published. Why are you here if you don’t like the content and then why take the time to articulate a comment instead of just leaving?

She just confirmed that she’s a part of it, not that she was THE LEAD. The only one saying that is that cheerleader over at making star wars.

They did not include the audio of the interviewer asking the question. And they did not publish the actual question. The question would be in question form. They only vaguely summarize what they discuss.IT IS ENTIRELY POSSIBLE that they only asked her “whats it like being in a Star Wars film” and then later in the caption included the whole “lead role” think because thats what is widely assumed. OR they could have indeed asked her “what is it like being the lead in a Star Wars film” and she might have just cone along with saying “Yes, its great, I love it” and left it at that to avoided any further discussion on the topic. Her response is so vague that THIS DOES NOT CONFIRM ANYTHING.

With that reasoning then you must be prepared to also say that Isaac’s comments were not a confirmation. He was asked about Rian and vaguely responded with a “great I love him” type of response as well. You must be consistent and you are not being consistent. Either they both don’t confirm anything or they both do confirm something, so which is it? Exactly.

Seeing as only the studio and those in charge of production can officially confirm any detail about the project I would say that no neither of them are official confirmations of anything. That would be the whole idea of something being confirmed. If it has to be insinuated or assumed that its what they meant then its not confirmation. That should clarify things for you.

Is it wrong to push for better content? I like this site. I like most of the content that is produced form this site. But when I read stuff like this I think that the administrators should know that it is not real news and that if articles like this continue to be published then the quality of this site will go down just as a lot of other news sites have. The internet has become a breading ground for sites dedicated to getting as many views as possible and writing whatever headline they need to in order to get those views. The writer may not have had that intention in mind, and I honestly don’t think that they did. But that is all the more reason to let them know that this was an unnecessary post and that it only gives a negative perception to the site itself. If you don’t feel that way then you either don’t care about the quality of the content that you read (which would be sad) or want this site to turn to garbage.

Hey man your right of course and by SW7N admission in a previous post they seemed more concerned with the amount of traffic the site attracts if they were to post nothing at all so I think your right to make your comment.

If you were not anonymous people might actually care about this comment. This is not some click bait site, this is run by a cool small team and they just throw news up when they get some. Grow some ability to notice commercial click bait from just simply posting relevant news, far out.

Maybe the comment was a bit harsh. but again the internet is full of appealing headlines that turn out to be a waste of time. I was comparing my experience of this article with those. I voice my opinion when I like a post and when I don’t like a post. And i’ve said that I like the site, I like most of the content, but this WAS all headline and no substance.

Yes, you are indeed. You have very talented actors, thanks for your help. (American here, btw.) I’m tempted to wish we had more representation, but I guess there’s enough, ha. (Also, I believe there are at least pick-up scenes/reshoots being filmed here, plus whatever tasty treats ILM has concocted.) Anyway, lots of other random stuff could be mentioned, but i’ts an awesome team effort, with a huge contribution from our British friends. Cheers!

      She said Pink…

Why it has to be a lightsaber?
Could be her clothes, her ship or her underwear

I’m fine with a pink lightsaber in Star Wars as long as:

      1. It’s not a common lightsaber color.
      2. It’s not exclusively a female lightsaber color.
      3. Over time, we see plenty of female lightsaber users with colors other than pink.
      4. Preferably, #3 is well established before the pink lightsaber is introduced.

So the reporter learns she is in a movie about X-Wing pilots.

Question #1 —what’s up with that?

She gives a non-answer because she’s not actually gotten into it yet.

3 minutes to kill… awkward. um,

    Question #2 — lightsaber color?

    WOW! BEST INTERVIEW EVER!

I will go out on a limb to say that she is a character with zero force abilities. I still think she will be playing Evaan, whom we already know is in the same time period as this story will be taking place either right before or right after ANH, due to the confirmed appearance of Moff Mors in the film.

This production seems to be moving slowly. I really thought we would have heard more casting news by now.

Definitely sick of LF’s secrecy about all the movies. They didn’t even give us a synopsis of EP 7. Cheap way to treat fans.

Anyway, Felicity seems ok. Of course, we have zero idea whom she is playing.

Then we get this cluster fuck of non movie material. It’s just overkill. Rebels is fucking awful, btw. And the comics.

didnt even give you a synopsis of the film?? *eye roll* please. yeah, thats exactly what abrams and kennedy would love after all this time of trying to not spoil the movie. wah wah i dont have a synopsis of the film. good lord. enjoy the ride. itll all be here soon enough.

    Not that good an interview.

I still don’t know much of anything about the movie to grab my attention to watch it when it’s released.

    Plot? Storyline?

This is a sure way of turning off fans.

I wouldn’t mind a pink lightsaber. Why? Because the fact there’s a lightsaber in it means it’s not all bam! bam! blasters and macho Han Solo stunts. I love the “elegant weapon from a more civilized age.”

I wonder if Felicity Jones plays a legitimate character or if she is simply a 1) female who is used as a launching point for the male hero 2) the male’s love interest 3) an obstacle for the male to overcome.

A female protagonist who is the “everyday hero” who can stand up on her own two feet will be very much appreciated, thank you very much.

    Dear women,

“Bangs” are the worst fashion decision that any of you have ever made. They make you look like a little kid from the 1970’s – who came from a shack out in the middle of nowhere. Even a beautiful woman like Felicity Jones ends up looking much less beautiful than she did before. Just say “no” to doing that to your hair.

Please don’t overdo the lightsabers and force usage. I’d be quite pleased if there were only Luke’s saber, and the new one, and they were used sparingly. Bring back a bit of mystery as it gets rediscover. Also, please don’t continue the weird trend of making all Jedi wear Tatooine desert/farmer/hermit clothes. Luke had a cool black outfit in Jedi, which worked fine. Meh

So I guess filming what start in what, October of this year. After the blackout is lifted I presume. Really late start date. E7 started in May of last year for a release 19 months later. I doubt they will be able to make the December 2016 and this could push back to Summer 2017. Episode 7 also gets pushed back I assume.
