It really seems like she is trying to get her Leia voice back and get rid of her long words she always leaves her sentences with.

Damn, I love her! I’m a little bit worried though, she clearly has some articulation problems. I hope her mumbling can be dealt with on set. Or am I exaggerating?

I don’t if it’s because of dentures, but she has developed quite a strange and affected way of speaking.

Dentures, lol… maybe… I mean, she wasn’t a meth addict. I think she just likes to toke up. Harrison is kind of famous for being an underground pot head, which explains his lethargic acting for the last 20 years.

Her delivery has become just as weird as Johnny Depp’s. I sure hope he doesn’t make Pirates 5 and Alice in Wonderland 2. He needs to play some real characters who don’t wear white face paint and speak in a British accent.

Ugh, I was done with Depp after Pirates 3. I can’t watch a movie with him in it anymore. It’s the same quirky-weird acting style EVERY time. It was really entertaining at first, but after a while it gets old.

Yeah, Depp needs to change it up big time. Looks kind of like that now that he is playing the gangster Whitey Bulger. Then again, he played John Dillinger and it was a horribly boring movie. He needs to pull a Daniel Day Lewis, vanish for 5 years, and come back with a towering performance. He has played the Sparrow archetype 8 too many times.

Yes, she seems to talk through her teeth quite a bit!
    Love her though!! Go Carrie!

Aw love Carrie. I feel so sorry for her here that is such a dead audience and a rather poor ‘interview’. You can tell Carrie’s thinking “can somebody actually say something because I have no idea what’s going on here, help me”. Watch a video of her on Craig Ferguson or something and she looks so much more comfortable and Carrie Fisher-like.

Although she’s almost unrecognizable from her Leia days, she’s looking great. Just needs to loose the glasses and have a bit of trickery make-up. Can’t wait to see Leia again.

Carrie looks great! Her weight loss has made her healthy and she looks happy. I wonder if the chemistry between her and Harrison will still be there after all these years.

Sounds like she has had dental work. I hope her speech can get back to normal before shooting starts

Yeah she’s looking pretty good! I don’t think the change in voice will really be bothersome, I mean it is 35 years in the future 🙂

Her voice has been like this for over 10 years or so now. I don’t see the problem. Mark’s voice has deepened a lot too.

Our voices deepen as we age. However, Carrie has a history of smoking and drug abuse… and doesn’t help, either.

But Mark’s voice is still recognizable. Both her voice and appearance have changed so dramatically it will be a hard sell that she’s the same character.

She seems very witty and quick in interviews. She lost weight and looks better than she has in many years. As far as her voice, yeah, she does sound odd. More than just her voice being deeper. Maybe dentures that she has a hard time speaking through. If that’s all, they can fix that in post production after principle filming ends. I’m sure she’ll be great in the movie.

She looks and sounds great if the new sequels have Leia strung out on crack living in an Ewok treehouse! Awesome!

In addition to her weight loss, it also looks like she’s been relaxing on the botox and/ collagen, and she looks much better for doing so.

Mark has actually aged the best. His voice still sounds awesome from years as a voice actor. I am mostly worried about Harrison’s catatonic anti-histrionics.

She is very laid back and down to earth in all her interviews, there is a difference when she preforms, I’m sure she will be fantastic! Also there is a huge difference with lighting a talk show and the art and magic of cinematography in a major motion picture. Look at the beauty product line of commercials with Diane Keaton. Washes of light and choice of color palette can be very dramatic. Look at Carrie in Empire, she was in a snow suit and was stunning. I really feel for these artists having to answer the same questions endlessly, yet still save face. Thanks to her sarcasim, maybe some interviewers will learn. Carrie is just awesome in my book and has never done wrong.

Thanks, interviewers, for not asking when she starts filming.
