On the latest episode of Collider Jedi Council, Kristian is joined by John and Mark to discuss everything in the galaxy far far away. The council discusses Simon Kinberg’s involvement in the story process for Star Wars, new Battlefront trailer and whether or not we think Kylo Ren will be a Sith Lord.

I heard that Bob Iger is going to announce at D23 that Star Wars VII is going to use practical effects!
Until now there has been no word on this subject.
Great news though 🙂
other good news: No midiclorians talk in VII according to Abrams. http://www.latimes.com/entertainment/herocomplex/la-et-hc-jj-abrams-no-midi-chlorians-star-wars-the-force-awakens-20150805-story.html
And Simon Peg did his Star Wars movie ranking which is a minute of glory.http://www.theguardian.com/film/filmblog/2015/aug/03/simon-pegg-best-and-worst-star-wars-films
Perhaps enough of taunting the PT’ers… they’ve already suffered enough. It surely is awful that a new Star Wars movie is just months away from release.
SW7N got a shout out in the latter half. Groovy.
Love Mark’s shirt! But is it a spoiler for Luke’s hideaway?
So glad I decided to give this show a try. By far, my favorite talk show!!
My favorite of the Star Wars podcast/vodcast. Seems a little more mature and focused. Most of the Star Wars podcasts I can’t make it through. A lot of them sound so juvenile and the hosts use the word “like” every other word and it becomes grating after a while.
Fly Casual is a very good one too… & very funny.
Check out Far Far Away podcast, mature Nd very informative as well.
Can’t wait for the NT haters.
XD
I starting to feel like this trilogy will marginalize PT generation to some extent. (The complaints about the filmmakers talking about the visual effects process is just the beginning) From the look and sound of things, and because this is a sequel to return if the Jedi, i see these movies as the tonic to those fans that felt the PT was mostly a failure.
Who came up with the names of the new characters? They seem very Jar Jar Abrams-esque.
Those guys don’t get it. “There has been an Awakening. The dark side and the light.” leaves much room for Jedis that return from the dead. To have Ahsoka die in Rebels and mysteriously reawakened in TFA would be a an easy way to get her into the new trilogy.
And it doesn’t matter, if most of the audience don’t know her.
I don’t mind the prequels as much as some people, but the Midichlorians are definitely demystifying “the force” and an unnecessary attempt to explain something spiritual in a scientific way.
