SWNN Live! – A Retrospective Discussion On ‘Star Wars: The Phantom Menace’

This week on SWNN Live! the team travels back to 1999 to discuss the Star Wars movie that many people love and hate, Star Wars: The Phantom Menace. Watch as Brian, Tyler, and myself (Jay) talk about the over-the-top excitement leading up to the movie’s release, the movie’s divisive reception, as well as some of the more positive rhetoric that has formed over the past few years. We also touch on some recent news where Tales of the Jedi season 2 and The Bad Batch season 3 have been confirmed to be premiering in 2024.

SWNN Live! is a streamed podcast/audio show where members of the Star Wars News Net team sit down to chat about all the latest and biggest news happening in a galaxy far, far away. The show is streamed live every Thursday at 8 pm PST/11 pm EST (subject to change) and can be caught on YouTube, Twitter (X), and Facebook. You can also tune in live and leave your questions and comments in the chat, and we’ll be happy to try and incorporate your thoughts into the discussion.
