‘Star Wars’ August 2023 Comic Preview: ‘Dark Droids’ Crossover Arc Begins, Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan Appear in ‘Darth Vader’, and More
The Star Wars comics solicitations for the month of August are here, as the long awaited Dark Droids crossover arc finally arrives and a virus corrupts droids across nearly every single comic series for the month. This should be the last comic event in the canon before we reach the events of Return of the Jedi.
Outside of Dark Droids, we can also look forward to a Max Rebo one-shot set just before the events of Return of the Jedi, the final issue in the Yoda series teasing appearances from Obi-Wan Kenobi and Count Dooku and the next issue of The Mandalorian season 2 adaption.

That’s all the Star Wars comics for the month of August. There are certainly fewer issues releasing than there are in July, but with the Dark Droids arc beginning there should still be plenty to keep us entertained. Every issue listed here is available for pre-order at your local comic shop.
