‘Star Wars Visions’ Volume 2 Trailer and Poster Showcased at Celebration Europe; Cast List Revealed

The second volume of Star Wars Visions is nearly upon us, and our first-ever look at the international animated anthology series has come today. While the first volume was entirely anime-based, the next take on the artistic reimagining of Star Wars will be mostly animated outside of Japan.

 

For the second volume, nine shorts have been made. Here are the titles, studios, and nations of origin each short represents:

 

  • “Sith” by El Guiri (Spain)
  • “Screecher’s Reach” by Cartoon Saloon (Ireland)
  • “In the Stars” by Punkrobot (Chile)
  • “I Am Your Mother” by Aardman (United Kingdom)
  • “Journey to the Dark Head” by Studio Mir (South Korea)
  • “The Spy Dancer” by Studio La Cachette (France)
  • “The Bandits of Golak” by 88 Pictures (India)
  • “The Pit” by D’art Shtajio (Japan) and Lucasfilm Ltd.
  • “Aau’s Song” by Triggerfish (South Africa)

 

Today, we’ve learned about the voice cast for each of the Star Wars Visions segments:

 

  • “Sith” will feature Úrsula Corberó and Luis Tosar.
  • “Screecher’s Reach” will feature Alex Connolly, Angelica Huston, Eva Whittaker, Molly McCann, Niamh Moyles, and Noah Rafferty.
  • “In the Stars” will feature Amparo Noguera, Julia Oviedo, Kate Kickie, and Valentina Muhr.
  • “I Am Your Mother” will feature Bebe Cave, Charithra Chandran, Denis Lawson, and Maxine Peak.
  • “Journey to the Dark Head” will feature Albert Kong, Ashley Park, Daniel Dae Kim, Eugene Lee Yang, Greg Chin, Jonella Landry, and Judy Alice Lee in English, and Choi Soo Min, Chwang Kwang, Jang Ye Na, Lee Kyung Taei, Lee So Young, Lim Chae Hon, Shim Young Woo, and Yun Yong Sik​ in Korean.
  • “The Spy Dancer” will feature Barber Weber, Bruce Edward Sheffield, Camille Cottin, Kaycie Chase, Lumbert Wilson, and Rudi James Jephcott.
  • “The Bandits of Golak” will feature Lillete Dubey, Neeraj Kabi, Rajeev Raj, Sonal Kushal, and Sumanto Ray.
  • “The Pit” will feature Anika Noni Rose, Cedric Yarbrough, David Diggs, Jordyn Curet, and Steve Blum.
  • “Aau’s Song” will feature Cynthia Erivo, Dineo Du Toti, Faith Baloyi, Milo Jantjie, and Tumisho Masha.

Star Wars Visions Volume 2 is set to arrive on May 4, 2023. Volume 1 is available to watch exclusively through Disney Plus right now.
