Funko Reveals New ‘Star Wars’ Rivals Expandable Game System

Funko has unveiled a new two-person card game, Star Wars Rivals, just in time for Star Wars Celebration, with preorders available this week according to EpicGames.news. The game includes a collection of cards featuring unique Star Wars locations, custom prism die, as well as a set of mini figurines that will surely delight Funko collectors. It also includes four exclusive characters in the premier set.

Funko is selling both light side and dark side character booster packs, which include one new mystery character, action and location cards, as well as everything else you need to play on your chosen side of the Force. The booster packs are able to be combined with the premier set for maximum characters and locations. I really enjoy that they’ve included TX-20 from The Clone Wars in the dark side booster pack – a deep cut that won’t be lost on animation fans.
