New ‘Andor’ Clip Shows Tensions Rising Among the Prisoners

A new two-minute clip from tomorrow’s episode of Andor shows Andy Serkis’ Kino Loy attempting to maintain order with his prison unit subordinates. Tensions rise throughout the clip, teasing what’s on the way when the next episode of live-action Star Wars hits Disney Plus tomorrow morning.

Let’s take a look at the clip, which is on the official Star Wars YouTube channel, below:

Kino Loy (Andy Serkis) owns the scene when his frustration boils over after his attempts to keep the prisoners calm and in line appears to be failing. As one prisoner continues to communicate across the way using sign language, Cassian believes something is indeed wrong while Kino Loy refuses to acknowledge an issue, dancing from one excuse to the next, in a desperate attempt to prevent chaos.

We will find out what all this leads to tomorrow. If the first trailer for the series is any indication, a breakout is coming, and Cassian Andor, as one might expect from a titular protagonist, will be right at the heart of it. Rewatch the series’ first trailer below, specifically the very end (2:07 mark) to see the prisoners running rampantly, followed by Cassian in his prison attire smashing a control or panel of some sort. We might be in for a wild one. One can only hope. After all, rebellions are built on hope.

The next episode of Andor arrives on Disney Plus tomorrow, November 2.
