Lucasfilm Promoting ‘The Mandalorian’ Season 3 and ‘Indiana Jones 5’ December 1 at CCXP

Brazil’s Comic Con Experience (also known as CCXP) will be getting a panel from Lucasfilm on December 1, with new details on the third season of the Star Wars Disney Plus series The Mandalorian included as part of the presentation.

Earlier this morning, it was revealed that CCXP will be having at least one panel dedicated to Disney, with Lucasfilm leading a presentation on Thursday, December 1. It is not clear how extensive it will be, but it was confirmed that news on both The Mandalorian and the still-untitled Indiana Jones 5 will be a part of the panel. You can check out the announcement below, which we have translated into English below:

The text of the announcement roughly translates to the following:

“The #DisneyAtCCXP [panels are] coming with everything to the #CCXP22 ! The panels will take place on Thursday, 12/1. Lucasfilm will bring news about the third season of The Mandalorian and the fifth Indiana Jones film. Want more? We can’t tell you. 😜”

As it stands, we already have a teaser trailer for the third season of The Mandalorian, with another possibly arriving in December. Presuming that there is a new trailer at this event, it remains to be seen if Lucasfilm will drop it exclusively for attendees and then release it publicly sometime later, or if the trailer will be released to the public on the same day. In the meantime, Indiana Jones 5 director James Mangold has confirmed that the first trailer for his film will be debuting sometime in the near future (just in time to play in front of Avatar: The Way of Water this December), so it seems likely that if it’s publicly revealed at CCXP, Lucasfilm might choose to wait on The Mandalorian trailer until later, so the projects don’t steal each other’s mojo.

The third season of Star Wars: The Mandalorian is expected to arrive in February 2023. The previous two seasons of the series are available to watch on Disney Plus, while a fourth season is in development.
