‘Andor’: New Clip From Episode 4 Shows Mon Mothma Talking To Luthen Rael

A new clip from tomorrow’s episode of Andor has surfaced online ahead of its premiere. Courtesy of Twitter TV, the brief scene from episode 4 introduces Mon Mothma to the show. The Imperial senator is having a tense conversation with Luthen Rael over the state of the rebellion they are trying to build in secret.

Here is the clip:

Times are definitely rough as the Empire tightens their grip, trying to quell any uprising before it gets off the ground. Andor episode 4 returns us to Coruscant, where we will see Genevieve O’Reilly’s Mon Mothma working the political side of the show. The clip reveals that she is supplying the funds for Luthen’s activities. It also puts another dynamic into play as she needs to go to Luthen for approval to bring someone new into the fold. Pure speculation, but one solid candidate is Elizabeth Dulau’s Kleya, who was seen in the second trailer talking to a long-haired Luthen.

On the topic of Luthen’s hair, we don’t know where this scene falls in the timeline relative to episodes 1-3. So far, we’ve seen him with shorter hair, which likely means either time has passed since the events of the last episode or we’re getting set for more flashbacks.

Answers aren’t far as Andor episode 4 premieres on Disney Plus tomorrow. Stay tuned for our written review and be sure to join The Resistance Broadcast team tomorrow night live over on our YouTube channel for a full discussion.
