‘Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga’ Downloadable Content Packs Confirmed

WB Games has confirmed details about downloadable content (DLC) packs for Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, revealing details on the specific characters that wil be available in each pack, playable or otherwise.

It seems seven DLC packs are planned for the game, including characters centered around The Mandalorian, Rogue One, Solo: A Star Wars Story and The Bad Batch, as well as classic characters and stormtroopers, all of which will be available for purchase between The Skywalker Saga‘s release date of April 5 and May 4, Star Wars Day.

On April 5, four DLC packs will be made available along with the main game. One will consist of characters who appeared in The Mandalorian season 1: Din Djarin, Grogu (a non-playable companion character), Greef Karga, Cara Dune, IG-11 and Kuiil. Surprisingly, The Armorer doesn’t make this list.

A second DLC pack will be comprised of characters from Solo: A Star Wars Story: Young Han Solo, Young Chewbacca, Young Lando Calrissian, Qi’ra, Tobias Beckett and Enfys Nest. Surprisingly, Thandiwe Newton’s Val and Jon Favreau’s Rio Durant are not included.

A third DLC pack will include versions of classic characters and can only be purchased with pre-orders of the game, for now: Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia, Han Solo, Darth Vader and Lando Calrissian. A fourth DLC pack is called the Trooper Pack, consisting entirely of various classes of Imperial Stormtroopers: Death Trooper, Incineration Trooper, Range Trooper, Imperial Shore Trooper and Mimban Stormtrooper.

On April 19, the Rogue One DLC pack will be released including all the main characters from the film: Jyn Erso, Cassian Andor, K2-SO, Bodhi Rook, Chirrut îmwe, Baze Malbus and Director Krennic.

Finally, Star Wars Day on May 4 will see the release of the final two DLC packs. One will include characters from The Mandalorian season 2: Ahsoka Tano, Boba Fett, Fennec Shand, Bo-Katan and Moff Gideon. The other will include all the original members of The Bad Batch in the TV series’ first episode: Hunter, Echo, Wrecker, Tech and Crosshair. No Omega, unfortunately.

These DLC packs contain 39 characters between them in addition to the 300 characters apparently available in the main game. While they’re probably not essential to the main experience in Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, avid collectors will be keen to buy them and complete their roster.
