New Clip from Next Episode of Star Wars Rebels: Warhead

After the exciting 2 part episode of Star Wars: Rebels from last week, revealing some important backstory for the Star Wars canon, it’s time for the show to return to its regular format. In the next episode titled Warhead, Zeb and Chopper bring a damaged droid found in the Atollon wilderness back to base, only to discover that the droid is a new Imperial probe programmed to spy on and destroy rebels (via Wookieepedia).

While I enjoy this (and most) use of McQurrie art in Rebels, it is getting really annoying that they arent using Prequel alien designs (which arent plot drive), there are so many species that arent utilised (Keldor, Togruta etc).

It would nice to see a mixture of the OT and prequel Species in back grounds, even in new characters.

Yeah, I don’t mind things being based on old concept art, but Rebels seems to take it to a pretty crazy degree with the number of concept art they use lol. Don’t get me wrong I mean Mcaurrie’s art is breathtaking- but I think much of Rebels (an clone wars even more so) most interesting visuals have been the original stuff they create

So Thrawn localizes Chopper Base & our heroes are headed for a showdown; but I’m more looking forward to the Mandalore / Dark Saber bits, meself…

Wondering if Bendu can/will play a factor in repelling the Imperials, given they’re a threat to his ‘hood?

Not this season – I can tell you that much. But I imagine that since they’re so cameo-happy with the show, his time will come.
