The Rebels from Rogue One Get Their Own IMAX Poster

imax

USA Today has just revealed the IMAX poster for Rogue One. The poster focuses on the good guys, including Galen Erso, who’s been absent from the previous posters. Perhaps in the following days we will get another one with the bad guys?

From USA Today:

We have the exclusive reveal of the artwork that surrounds its good guys with X-Wing and U-Wing Fighters and features the Death Star in the background. The folks getting the poster treatment, clockwise from top left: Rebel officer Cassian Andor (Diego Luna), star heroine Jyn Erso (Felicity Jones), Clone Wars vet Saw Gerrera (Forest Whitaker), Jyn’s dad Galen Erso (Mads Mikkelsen), blind warrior Chirrut Imwe (Donnie Yen), freelance assassin Baze Malbus (Jiang Wen), droid K-2SO (Alan Tudyk) and ex-Imperial pilot Bodhi Rook (Riz Ahmed). Arguably the coolest thing? The gang’s all here over the shadowy shape of an Imperial Star Destroyer.

Cassian’s pushed to the back of the poster. Interesting, would’ve thought he would’ve been more predominantly placed (/co-star / top billed after Jyn).

Will be interesting if we see a bad guy poster. Krennic isn’t getting any love in this one. 😉

That’s actually pretty awful…. The other posters have been so much better. I see what they were trying to do, but it’s not working for me.

Any Info on if any of the IMAX screenings will be in 2D? I saw Force Awakens in IMAX, but they only offered 3D. just curious.
