i still think that the obi-wan idea sounds more like an indie film, then a star wars blockbuster.
Or maybe they could do a Bollywood version. Obi Wan dancing with a group of Tusken Raiders and Jawas would be the most epic thing since ‘Caravan of Courage’.
They should change the name of this show to Starwarsnewsnet re-cap.Used to look forward to this show every Thursday ( seriously..Thursday couldn’t come fast enough)..now I don’t bother, since by the time Thursday rolls around I have already read the articles on here….don’t think I need to waste an hour to watch someone sit at a desk with a laptop who has this site pulled up, reading articles I have ( and probably everyone else who watches the show) already read almost a week prior to their show….granted, its always fun to get their take on it…and I love these guys…but it’s getting pretty boring to be honest.
I can see your point. I don’t think that they need to react to every time Dave Filoni does an interview or any other person involved in Star Wars for that matter. The show is one of the best weekly Star Wars shows out there and the guys are great but sometimes there’s a bit too much of things that aren’t newsworthy at all. I forget which one but in an episode recently Campea basically said one of their topics was so insignificant.
I would love to see them have a segment where they revisit Legends books or old video games. There’s so much content out there that this could be real fun.
I dunno, I really like the comraderie aspect of the show. There IS a difference between SWNN and CJC, and that’s the fact that one reports the news and one discusses it. Sure, we get opinion pieces and comment sections here on SWNN, but CJC has this talk show feel to it, and there’s a reason people watch talk shows.
Donald Glover looks and sounds nothing like Lando…and his stand up is bad. Short rant over.
