Fantastic Rogue One Trailer Compilation!

T98Hmi3s

Our friend Nick Hedenbeck has created the ultimate Rogue One trailer, using footage from everything that has been released so far – the first teaser trailer, the BTS footage from Celebration Europe, and the latest official trailer that debuted just hours ago. Check it out…

Enjoy!

The Super Trailer contains a few Easter Eggs from the Radio Dramatization of A New Hope which starts out prior to the beginning of the film. In the beginning we hear Bail Organa (named Prestor Organa in the Radio Drama) saying: -The Empire has a secret project on the way. They’ve codenamed it… The Death Star. This is lifted from a conversation between Leia and her father.

At around 21 seconds in you can hear radio shatter saying: -There’s an ambush on… This is from a diversion created by the rebels to get one soldier through to make first contact with Princess Leia.

And at 25 seconds in: -Come in Skyhook, come in Skyhook. Skyhook is Leia’s/Tantive IV’s call sign when the rebels makes final contact to deliver the plans.

As always fantastic music, edit and mix from Nick!

I’m 38 years old and did exactly the same.
The feels are strong with this one, buddy.

Don’t they? This feels like the ultimate of aged Star Wars fandom. A much deeper appreciation for Rogue One than I had for TFA.
Everything feels mysteriously right with this one .

Have to agree. The first trailers I saw had me mostly unimpressed, but hopeful. This came out and I was jumping all over! It FEELS like what I see in my head when reading the books. Very hopeful now. I still don’t like the main char very much (wife either), maybe her story will expand and grow on us.

Well done Star Wars Alert. I don’t post often, but this video deserves all the kudos it can get.

I really hope this is not another Star Wars film without some type of space battle. It would mean two star wars films released in the last year would be the only ones not to include a space action sequence and that would be disappointing.

Hopefully if we do get one it’ll have a ton of meaning and build up to it. Not just background fluff you gloss over…

I still find it amazing and I’m thankful that we’re getting Star Wars films AT ALL! Space battles or not.

Well, obviously. It just seems weird to me that we have 6 Star Wars films with some type of space sequence, and then the 2 new ones quite possibly don’t include anything. Its disappointing to me. To continually see Starships fighting on planets instead of in space, at all, is weird.

So what was the exclusive trailer for celebration that no one got to see? Was this the same Vader footage

No it’s not. I saw a video recorded in a mobile (pretty bad quality) and it was definitely a different shot. Also Jin as a kid appeared at the beginning.

Yeah the celebration was the floor reflection. Camera slowly panning up from the floor. Only to reveal his silhouette against the back drop of what looked like a sun or molten world. Queue breathing.

I thought it was the same screen we see in the trailer reflected in the floor, but it was really poor quality the leaked video.

I really enjoyed this trailer. Far too often these fan ones are very sloppy, particularly in the audio department and in narrative. This one has nice transitions and tell a cohesive story…I approve.

I liked the last shot, of the droid casually dropping the bag he was given to obviously carry. Haven’t seen that shot before, where’s it from?

I’ve seen the first teaser, the sizzle reel and the new trailer, and just watched the TV spots and I can’t see it.

Was just told where it’s from, it’s from the Rogue One Panel at Celebration Europe, when Alan Tudyk is talking.

What is with Saw Gerrera having hair and then also not having hair?? I’m assuming we’ll see him with hair in the movie as that’s what’s shown in the entertainment weekly pics of him but like wtf.

My experiene with films so far tells me that the “extensive” reshoots were probably a correct move. Don’t get me wrong I will go and watch the film and geek out and freakout about all the new stuff we are going to see. Still, even from this trailer I sense that the drector didn’t get 100% of the amazing acting talent that Felicity Jones is. The same goes for the rest of the characters. I don’t know, I really liked the trailer but as I understand it, the characters need far more spirit in them. I suppose I will see the entire movie first and then start accusing the film. But still, that’s my initial gut feeling.
