Star Wars Weekly Social Buzz.

There’s been a lot of social buzz this week. Read on for the latest from John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Mark Hamill and more…

Let’s first start with John Boyega, whose birthday was yesterday. He was asking on Twitter if anyone had any suggestions what he could do on this special day. The guys from Empire Magazine replied and invited him to their offices. Guess what, John accepted and paid visit to the surprised Empire crew.

Also Boyega made an incredibly touching gesture, visiting a few sick children in a hospital dressed as Finn.

Next is Daisy Ridley who was asked on a formal by one of her fans. Davidson College student Kevin Carlock made the proposal last month via a rap video posted on youtube.

Daisy saw the video and was kind enough to post a reply to the guy.

@kevincarlock your video made my day! Can’t believe I only just saw it! Thank you!!!

Kevin replied back not missing the chance to tease Daisy about Rey’s heritage:

Good luck with VIII @daisyridley

Rian Johnson on spoilers:

Happy St. Patrick’s Day from Rian Johnson. It is confirmed, Episode VIII will rely mainly on CGI!!! …. I kid, I kid. 🙂

Mark Hamill continues with the trolling. 🙂

Carrie Fisher getting a hair makeup probably at Pinewood:

And now the best part. The latest interesting tweets by Pablo Hidalgo!

Constable Zuvio did appear in The Force Awakens after all. Kinda…

Lucasfilm Story Group takes over Indy as well:

Change in size of the Finalizer:

On the similarities between Kylo and Rey and Jaina and Jacen:

The ideas of the standalone movies came from George Lucas including the third unrevealed one:

Some VFX shorts from HP:

Stay tuned for more next week.

John Boyega is one cool dude:
    1. Just shows up at multiple cinemas to watch TFA with everyone else
    2. Makes sick kids dreams come true
    3. Hangs out with the Empire crew to celebrate his birthday

    I like this guy.

Hes doing what few others involved with Star Wars have done, and it’s to embrace the experience

I think she’s just kind of shy. VII was her first feature film, so she’s in very unfamiliar territory.

Me too. He seems very nice, so I hope he doesn’t get a big head.

      • March 18, 2016 at 9:29 pm

He seems pretty genuine, down to Earth and all that.

        He’s already got a kind of pumpkin-sized noggin…ohhhhh, sorry, I get it.

What?! Dude has a MASSIVE noggin – look at the size of that thing!

So Constable Zuvio was in TFA for THREE WHOLE FRAMES?! Nice!

Anyway, will Lucasfilm ever show us something about Rogue One?

    Little Rey is awesome.

Can Don Cheadle please be in episode 8? Like if you want Don Cheadle in starwars as an X-Wing pilot 🙂

    • March 19, 2016 at 12:08 am

And then can he demand to be paid the same as the leads and get his ass fired?

      • March 19, 2016 at 12:33 am

what do you mean? did he do that for avengers?

      • March 19, 2016 at 4:21 am

you’re confusing him with terrence howard. don cheadle is the one who actually replaced him when terrence was fired.

        • March 19, 2016 at 8:46 am

Well, that’s what I get for not paying enough attention to who was in which one. That’s right, I remember now – Cheadle actually shows up in Avengers, right? D’Oh.

The third spinoff was Lucas’s idea? Maybe it’s about Yoda after all then?
