Ren (Chinese: 仁; pinyin: rén; Wade–Giles: jen) is the Confucian virtue denoting the good feeling a virtuous human experiences when being altruistic. Ren is exemplified by a normal adult’s protective feelings for children. It is considered the outward expression of Confucian ideals. (Wikipedia).
I take this meaning and apply it to Luke in this way – he is the founder of the Knights of Ren, his character development was always one of “I care”, he cared for his friends, he cared for his family – to the point of risking his own life to save them. Now his natural progression is to start an new Academy, one that balances the strict moral code of the Jedi with one of heartfelt love and emotion… The Knights of Ren. One of his pupils (Kylo) goes AWOL and

Umm, the silence is deafening… must of hit pretty close to the mark… oh how I am looking forward to TFA – regardless of right or wrong theories…

<====== Profile pic is Supreme Leader Snoak. Paul Dameron on here found some imagine online that some idiot Wal-Mart employee put up before December. Looks too good to be fake and why would someone be that elaborate with a hoax if it was? Way too detailed to be shopped, Not many have access to that kind of CG tech as well.

Are you sitting on information that proves otherwise? : ) No pleading the fifth either!

Time to sell my bootleg figures I have ASAP if so and then cheese it!

The full pic was posted by Dameron on here yesterday but I forgot which thread. If it’s really not him then I don’t know what it is. If you see it up close it looks nothing like Yoda, So whoever did it should be working for ILM since he looks more believable than the digital Yoda we got in the PT.

This photo has been around for months now. It has nothing to do with TFA.

How can you be 100 percent sure though?

It seems pretty elaborate for a prank and Wal-Mart employees are known for being clueless about putting things out early, Hello FF! It’s been rumored (I think on this site) that he is of Yoda’s species as well.

It doesn’t look fan-arty either or at least of what I seen. It seems highly unlikely that Disney is making a video game with a dark Yoda as well.

Regardless, I kind of like it and really want to know the true story behind it now. I guess we will know for sure in December.

You really believe that Walmart will have a huge billboard with Snoke – one of the most secretive characters from TFA? Who we know is mo capped by a person with normal hight. Trust me, this is not Snoke.

But it’s not supposed to be out till December. Most of the Wally World employees in my area either don’t speak English as a first language, Never finished High School, or are still in HS. You really don’t need many qualifactions to find employment there. I could totally see them fucking up on this. They did on Force Friday here with the new merchandise which I saw leaked in August.

But seeing as how he’s the main villain I can totally see Disney making a billboard (more like a standee) of him for the holidays during the shopping rush.

He was mo caped but he also was for King Kong and Gollum who look nothing like Serkiss in height and weight.

I’d like to see an editorial on here about the whole character seeing as how they covered just about everyone else that we know is in the film.

So you’re saying that Disney gave a billboard with Snoke to Walmart on Force Friday and told them to release it in December?

Not sure when they got it, Could have been recently but on the collecting forums there is talks of another FF when the film comes out to capitalize on Christmas which would probably include him, Han, Luke, Leia, etc.

If you ever been in the back room of one, They have all kinds of shit back there they are sitting on for months in advance. I know because I had a contact who worked there that hooked me up with all the special edition promos from the 90’s.

I’m not saying I’m 100 percent on this but at this point it seems stranger for him to not be him than it is for him to be him. Disney hasn’t ordered a cease and desist yet but everybody knows by now that it would be an admission of guilt and they are probably hoping it blows over in the next month or so unless they move forward with their plans.

The image first appeared on Force Friday (2 months ago). That’s not Snoke, now move on.

Unless you have someone on the inside who can prove otherwise then you have no evidence to stand on other than pure conjecture.

It would be different if Yoda was in a pose like that in any of the films and they doctored it but he isn’t and most fan art of that nature is pretty shoddy and easily discernable.

Snoak is not some throwaway PT character who serves no plot purpose. He’s a major dark side user and that thing is evil looking enough, Like a force powered Gremlin. Maul standees were everywhere during Christmas same with Jango, Grievous, Vader, etc. It would only make sense they have some of him too.
