New Mondo Star Wars and Indiana Jones Posters!
Now that millions of people around the world have seen Star Wars: The Force Awakens, the anticipation for Episode VIII has already begun! Fans of the franchise have not just one more film to look forward to, but FIVE. In the meantime, you can return to a galaxy far, far away with artwork from the Mondo collection. Screenrant is reporting that a new collection of original Mondo posters are being released. For those not familiar, Mondo creates limited edition screen printed posters for our favorite classic and contemporary films as well as a vast variety of other products. Mondo and Acme Archives have partnered up to produce brand new screen prints with original artwork based on characters in Star Wars and Indiana Jones. Artist Mike Mitchell has recently created a new Star Wars print titled “Red Five”. This new Star Wars print features Luke Skywalker in his classic X-Wing Red Five pilot uniform. More information on the new Indiana Jones piece will be released forthcoming.
Mondo’s partnership with Acme Archives is excited to return to the Star Wars universe. Mike Mitchell said:
“Despite being a pop culture powerhouse, Star Wars never ceases to inspire me due to its wonderfully original and creative characters. I’m excited to have the opportunity to show you my favorites. I think if you’re a fan of Star Wars, you’re going to enjoy what’s in store.”

The profile of Luke is cool. The Han Solo poster looks VERY Adobe Illustrator. I can see what they were going for, but it doesn’t appeal to me the way other Mondo posters have.
That Han Solo image is ghastly. The Luke Skywalker one though is beautifully rendered.
I want to see the old versions of him.
The solo/Jones one isn’t a mondo poster. None have been released yet, just the Red 5 image.
