SWNN Live! ‘The Phantom Menace’, Possible New Streaming Schedule, and Ray Stevenson Dead at 58

The most recent episode of SWNN Live! is currently available to watch on YouTube and social media. This is our weekly Thursday night show where members of the Star Wars New Net crew tag along for a chat about some of the week’s Star Wars news and interact with the audience. This week, it was time to talk some Ahsoka, Return of the Jedi and The Phantom Menace.

This week, usual host Brian Miller was joined by two of the site’s writers, Tyler Bradshaw and Miguel Fernández, to discuss Ray Stevenson’s unfortunate passing, some Ahsoka news and what Marvel’s recent news about their Disney Plus schedule could tell us about Star Wars‘ release plans for the fall, namely Ahsoka and Skeleton Crew. Finally, in light of a recently-published editorial on the films that inspired The Phantom Menace, the three talked about the 1999 film, and also honored Return of the Jedi in its 40th anniversary.

You can check it out on YouTube here, but it’s also available to watch on Twitter:

SWNN Live! will return next Thursday night. Stay tuned!

Miguel Fernández is a Spanish student that has movies as his second passion in life. His favorite movie of all time is The Lord of the Rings, but he is also a huge Star Wars fan. However, fantasy movies are not his only cup of tea, as movies from Scorsese, Fincher, Kubrick or Hitchcock have been an obsession for him since he started to understand the language of filmmaking. He is that guy who will watch a black and white movie, just because it is in black and white.
