‘Star Wars Jedi: Survivor’ Final Trailer Arrives at Celebration Europe

The latest, and most likely final, trailer for Star Wars Jedi: Survivor has finally arrived.

Moments ago, Electronic Arts and Lucasfilm released the newest trailer for Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. Much like in 2022’s Celebration (and much unlike 2019’s Celebration), there was not a dedicated panel to this game, so the trailer just arrived with a bit of external fanfare. You can watch the newest ad for the game below:

The previous game in the series, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, placed players in the role of Cal Kestis (played by Gotham actor Cameron Monaghan), a former Jedi Padawan who narrowly escaped the Order 66 with his life before going into hiding on a massive scrapyard planet. When circumstances five years later force Cal to use his powers to save a friend, a massive target is placed on his back. Cal goes on the run from a group of Inquisitors before winding up with a motley crew on a ship known as the Mantis, leading to an adventure where Cal furthers his connection to the Force and keeps a crucial artifact out of the Empire’s hands, escaping by the skin of their teeth after facing some of the darkest forces imaginable. After another five years pass, Cal and the Mantis crew appear to have separated from one another for unknown reasons, but pressing circumstances have the crew working together once more.

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor features a much greater number of combat options for players, giving them new choices for combat, like wielding a lightsaber and blaster at the same time, all while building off of the exploration elements that fans responded well to the first time around. With any luck, Survivor will prove to be a worthy successor to Fallen Order, and continue to raise the bar for Jedi-based video games.
