Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge Cast Costumes Revealed
Last evening during a cast exclusive party, Disney finally revealed the cast costumes for Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge for both Disneyland California and Walt Disney World Orlando. This reveal gave cast members a first look at attraction costumes for Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance and Millennium Falcon: Smuggler’s Run, as well as the costumes for villagers of Black Spire Outpost and other lines of business within the park.

The costumes for the villagers of Black Spire Outpost look and feel like Star Wars. These costumes will feature four different tops and five different bottoms that can be mixed and matched in variety of ways. Tunics, jackets, coats, accessories, hats, scarves, and more will help cast members customize their Galaxy’s Edge attire to make them a bit unique while keeping with the aesthetic. These costumes will be more or less a base and cast members at different lines of business within Black Spire Outpost may have additional overlays to define a specific role.

Cast members will represent both the Resistance as well as the First Order for Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance.
Check out that awesome orange patch for Millennium Falcon: Smuggler’s Run.
Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge will also feature brand new name tags for cast members. The name tags will feature the cast member’s name, their name in Aurebesh, and an “homage to Black Spire Outpost.”
We still do not have confirmed dates for the opening of these two park expansions as of yet. Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disneyland California is slated to open in Summer 2019 while the expansion opens at Walt Disney World Orlando in Fall 2019.
What are your thoughts on the cast member costumes for Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge and Black Spire Outpost? Are you excited to travel to a galaxy far, far away?
