The Resistance Broadcast – Solo: A Star Wars Story Is Set to Make Over 170 Million Opening Weekend.

There have been a ton of new TV spots and clips for Solo, so in this episode, we have a great time breaking them down and talking about what makes each one great. Additionally, Solo might be headed towards a big 170 million dollar opening weekend so there’s plenty to talk about on this Monday edition of The Resistance Broadcast.

On this transmission of The Resistance Broadcast: James Baney, and Lacey Gilleran!

News Net this week is all about the clips that have been dropping online left and right. James and Lacey are watching each one multiple times to have a good idea on how the film might play out and if this movie is going to be a good one. Spoiler alert: we think it will be and apparently so does everyone else because Solo could be headed towards a huge 170 million dollar opening over the 4 day Memorial Day weekend. This would be a major success to hit numbers even close to this so let’s hope for the future success of the franchise.

Lastly, John Powell, the composer for Solo, put out an image with the track listing for the upcoming soundtrack. We talk about whether or not we think it’s a good thing that he did so and discuss the tracks titles.

In Ask The Resistance, we were approached by fans to answer some hard hitting questions, one of which being whether or not we believe Chewbacca’s son Lumpy will make an appearance in the upcoming Solo film. It’s a tough call but we approach all the questions with care.
