Donald Glover Has Finished Filming His Scenes For ‘Han Solo’.

One of the major leads of the Han Solo Star Wars spin-off has already completed his major scenes, according to director Ron Howard himself.

Director Ron Howard is out and about tweeting about the Star Wars movie he took over for again, this time revealing some interesting news: Donald Glover has officially filmed his last scene for the movie.

So if we’re already at the point where one of the lead actors involved with the picture is finished filming, then presumably that means that things are wrapping up for the principal photography and the additional photography that was determined to be needed following the split between Lucasfilm and Phil Lord/Christopher Miller. Ron Howard deserves some serious props for turning what could have been a production and scheduling nightmare into a situation devoid of panic.

Nice. I wish he would share more about the actual lead character Han Solo. Haven’t even seen what he looks like since he took over. And give us a title

I feel that for Han – because he looks SO different Harrison Ford – they will not release a pic of him first, but an actual clip/trailer – where we as the audience might be able to buy into his performance.

I would agree with this. I think so much can be conveyed through a performance that goes beyond looks. I’m not saying he will or will not pull it off, just that I too agree that it is a trickier thing and more caution around this will be taken. Conversely, we really haven’t seen any actors in their full costume.

There may be some time leap in the movie that required him to grow the beard throughout filming.
Ex, Stranded on planet for several weeks/months.

Would an appearance by a younger Lobot in this film be too kooky?

Inspired casting! The more I compare them, the more similar I find their appearance.

Yeah he really looks like a young Billy Dee Williams. I’m dying to see a trailer now or at least some official stills from the movie.

What? 🙂 🙂 🙂 if you want badly to see circle in a square, ultimately wou will. If this guy looks anything like Billy Dee, then I can safely say that Alden is a clone of young Harrison 🙂

Gotta say from what I’ve seen, I’m starting to like this Ron Howard guy. I was very eager to see what Miller
and Lord would do, but this guy surely knows what he’s doing. Hopefully his vision of the movie is as soulful as what Miller and Lord had intended.

Star Wars remains Star Wars, ergo being able to bring in an Academy Award-winning director who just happens to be a friend of the program.
