Ahsoka and Padme Face Off a Shape-Shifting Bounty Hunter in Forces of Destiny: The Imposter Inside!
The latest episode of Forces of Destiny has been released. In “The Imposter Inside” we find Senator Amidala and Ahsoka deal with a shape-shifting bounty hunter. Check it out…
From Disney:
It seems Padme’s encounter with the shape-shifting bounty hunter in Attack of the Clones was not the first one, or maybe not the last.

This is my favorite episode thus far, it’s great seeing Ahsoka and Padme together again, good times.
Apart from the Rogue One flashback, is this the first time the PT era has been shown on film since the Disney buyout?
If you leave out The Clone Wars Lost Missions and the other unfinished episodes that were shown, I believe so. This and the Ahsoka one from two days ago of course.
Well there was The Lost Missions on Netflix, but that’s about it.
Pretty good action in this one considering the medium.
Yeah, but the super delayed explosion of the grenade annoyed me.

R.I.P. Adam West. 🙁
So happy to see Padme! She was the female lead in 3 movies, don’t know why Disney sidelines her so much. Her character and background have so much story potential. One thing about this episode is weird, though: wouldn’t she know the names of her own handmaidens?
yes man I agree also Natalie Portman said she wants to come back also Im hoping for a Black Series figure of preferably six inch
Maybe because her character was dull and boring and her decision-making skills in the prequels lacked all basic reason and logic.
I love Padme. She is my favorite SW female character. It is nice to see her again, even in this cheap cartoon.
Padme Amidala is one of my favorite characters Luke gets his compassionate from her also great episode im Fan Of Natalie Portman as well
Nice to see Padme!
I think it’s a bit redundant for both Padme’s would-be assassins to be (presumably) the same species.
As usual, ignoring this as cannon, but still an enjoyable little cartoon.
My favorite so far, I’d say.
Could also have been Zam, but the description on YouTube calls it “a shape-shifting bounty hunter”. Rather vague, maybe they don’t want to commit to it.
If it takes place during the Clone Wars (which it must, given Ahsoka’s presence) then Zam is already dead. Clawdites just got a thing for Amidala!
Its Cato Parasitti. Leland Chee confirmed it https://twitter.com/HolocronKeeper/status/883786118239473664
Ohhh, cool.
Forgot about her.
“As usual, ignoring this as cannon”
WTF does that even mean?
Let me rephrase.
I accept that this event happened, but I’d like to think it wasn’t exactly like this. Really just the grenade annoyed me. I shouldn’t of said ignoring this as cannon.
Also, both her assassins being Clawdites is dumb.
Oh, yeah. I’ve always assumed that anything outside of the movies is stylized in some way. the books have inaccurate dialogue while TCW couldn’t show lightsabers boiling the water in Mon Cala. Canon can only be so strict.
If you can’t say something nice….
… say anything at all.
I wonder if there is a small part of Padme that wishes that Ashoka could’ve tried harder to avoid totally destroying her beautiful dinner table setting via violently heaving the 2 of them onto it. Is there a Bed, Bath, and Beyond on Coruscant?
Doesn’t Padme have her mole on her LEFT cheek? ( Also referring to Natalie Portman’s left cheek……the cheek that is on her face that is. )
Yeah, Kylo’s magic moving scar kinda shows how little Disney thinks of continuityinuity.
and Saw Gerreras blue eyes magically turned green and then dark brown
His accent has changed as well. TWICE.
I liked the first couple with Rey but these are getting lame IMO. They are uninteresting and really add nothing to Star Wars canon.
These are really bad and cheaply done. Something can be done on the cheap, do they don’t have to be necessarily bad. This looks like someone just going through the motions. Just end it now.
Aaand Padme’s appearance is changed WHY exactly?!
huh?
It would have been a better twist if the shape-shifter had, from the get-go, imitated Padmé herself. Ahsoka somehow detects and disposes of Fake Padmé, then finds the real Senator Amidala gagged and tied up in a closet.
That would’ve been cool.
This is the best one yet! Gimme more.
TBH the only thing I don’t like about this episode is the fact that Padme is wearing combat gear to a formal dinner. Padme would totally be wearing an all-new designer gown.
So they’re going to eat the meal that was delivered by the assassin? That seems unwise.
Happy too see Padme again.
Fairly solid episode. For starters, I always did enjoy the voice actress for Padme and liked her in TCW. That was the only bit of medium to where I felt like she was best represented. Because, when you consider how she is supposed to have been Leia’s mother; nope. Does not compute.
But then again, that is the case with PT era material outside the movies. But I digress. I enjoyed seeing Ahsoka again and very much enjoyed their interactions. And I did like the shapeshifting assassin from ATC. But everything else was just bad.
The animation, even comparing the Rey stuff, felt like such a downgrade; with the actual animation in my view feeling stiff. Even the Leia one with the Ewoks was better animated. Either these guys didn’t have enough time or the budget ran thin, but nevertheless this looks really bad. With only the character interactions and VA pulling it through. Overall, this is a very weak episode that is held together by VA and performances. But only that can go so far.
