The Halcyon’s Characters Explored in New Galactic Starcruiser Preview
The brand-new premium hotel Galactic Starcruiser quietly opened its doors earlier this month amidst mixed reviews from the press and a new surge in bookings cancellations. It seems like many hardcore Star Wars fans are reconsidering their investments, ranging from almost $5,000 to $10,000 for two-night stays, after full details and the aforementioned reviews started coming out.
However, Disney is still pushing ahead with an aggressive marketing campaign that highlights the more creative side of the experience and all the hard work that has gone into fleshing out both the location and the characters that inhabit it. A couple of weeks ago, just in time for the hotel’s opening day, we saw Poe Dameron actor Oscar Isaac promoting the premium Star Wars trip, and now the official channels have dropped an extensive look at the key characters aboard the Halcyon — check it out below:
If you’ve been following the news surrounding the Galactic Starcruiser experience, you’ll already be familiar with many of these faces, from Resistance sympathizer Captain Riyola Keevan to First Order Lt. Croy, but it’s a nice refresher for anyone planning to visit the Halcyon in the coming months. Despite the major complaints that we’ve been hearing in the last few weeks, everyone seems to agree that the cast members are doing an amazing job, and that goes a long way to sell a role-playing experience as complex as this one.
