First Tier Reveal for HasLab Black Series Rancor
More details have been revealed for the latest Star Wars HasLab project – The Black Series Rancor. First revealed in August, the Rancor HasLab officially launched last month during the Hasbro Pulse Con with many details including its $349.99 price tag and backing deadline of December 6th. So, what did the Hasbro Team have in store for today’s livestream? They revealed a look at the first model for the figure and the details for the first stretch goal for backing the project.
The team reiterated the massive size of this premium figure with a 17.5″ height and 42″ wingspan from claw to claw. It’s made to scale for 6″ Black Series figures, so fans will be able to pose the Rancor with figures and even place them in the Rancor’s mouth! This figure also features butterfly joints and over 9 times the amount of art deco seen on other figures in the Black Series line. Hasbro wanted to bring all the innovation from other figures into this premium one for HasLab, and this creature has a full range of motion for all your posing needs.
As for the first stretch goal, it was revealed that the first tier unlocked at 11,000 backers will be the Gamorrean Guard. It features special HasLab only packing and a collector’s coin. The figure itself has multiple weapons and fur detail.

There are three other planned stretch goals for this HasLab project, with Tier 2 unlocked at 13,500 backers. Fans can visit the Hasbro Pulse website to back the project (currently at 4,436 backers), and get all the details on what’s next for the Rancor.
