Updated with the Results – Commander Cody Wins! Vote for the Next Black Series Archive Photoreal Refresh from Hasbro
It’s that time of year again. May the 4th is fast approaching and Hasbro has been kind enough to enlist the fans to choose an upcoming release in their Black Series Archive line.
As they have done in the past, Hasbro has reached out to fan sites like our own to help collect feedback from our readers on what releases interest the fans the most. This time we’re looking in the realm of Photoreal refreshes. So Hasbro wants to know what current Black Series figure you’d like to see with a photoreal deco refresh.
Here are some of the details on what would qualify:
- Fans can vote on any character that has been featured in the Hasbro Star Wars: The Black Series Line to be made as a refresh with photoreal deco (if applicable) and put into our Black Series Archive line.
- This would need to be a figure that Hasbro has created for the Black Series line in the past (no new figures).
- Must be able to be executed in the Archive expression (i.e. Could not be a vehicle, Jabba the Hutt, the Wampa, etc.).
As the rules state, this is specific to previous black series releases that have not yet gotten the photoreal deco. It also can’t include stuff like vehicles or larger creatures or monsters. So it seems they are looking for human/humanoid figures that can get that real photoreal look applied.

You can vote by leaving your choice in the comments below. Each person can only vote once and Hasbro will only be counting figures that meet the above criteria. The poll will close on Friday May 8th at 11:59pm EST. Hasbro will then host a final round of polling on Hasbro Pulse featuring the top ten figures across all participating sites on Friday, May 15th.
