Ray Stevenson, Star of ‘Ahsoka’, Has Died at Age 58

We are saddened to report that Ray Stevenson has passed away at 58 years old.

According to Italian newspaper Repubblica, the Northern Irish actor who is set to star in Ahsoka as villain Baylan Skoll, passed away days before his 59th birthday on the island Ischia in Italy.

He was admitted to the local hospital after suffering an illness while filming on set for the Italian film Cassino on Ischia. The actor had been on set for several days before contracting the illness and being admitted to hospital.

Stevenson will star in Ahsoka later this year, but Star Wars fans may also know him as the voice of Gar Saxon in Star Wars Rebels and The Clone Wars. Others may recognise him from his work in the HBO Series Rome, as well as roles in The Three MusketeersThor and RRR.

Ray will be missed and we send our condolences to his family and friends in their time of loss.
