‘The Mandalorian’ New Character Posters Show off the Armorer and the Anzellan Droidsmiths

Lucasfilm has revealed two new character posters from The Mandalorian season 3 which are tied to last week’s Chapter 17. They are focused on the Armorer and the MVPs of the episode, the Anzellan droidsmiths from Nevarro.

Revealing new character posters the Monday after each episode airs is now a long-running tradition for Mandalorian marketing, and season 3 of the show is keeping it going. A few pieces of concept art that played during the credits of the episode were also posted on social media over the weekend:

The Mandalorian returns this Wednesday with Chapter 18, which will pick up shortly after the ending of Chapter 17. We know that Din Djarin is on a quest to put IG-11 back together, and for that, he needs a specific piece of hardware that, we are assuming, he will get from the Jawas. We’ve seen how Chapter 17 went back to the video game-ish feeling of previous seasons, where Din must embark on a sub-mission to achieve a McGuffin that will allow him to continue on with his larger quest. Will he have to retrieve something for the Jawas in exchange for the part he needs? Will we get a cameo from another armor-wearing character?

Rachel Morrison, Oscar-nominated cinematographer of Mudbound, who also acted as DP on Black Panther, will step in to direct Chapter 18. Stay tuned for our review on Wednesday morning, and if you haven’t already, check out our recap and discussion of Chapter 17 here!
